سرانجام بازی The Legend of Heroes Trails: of Cold Steel II پس از موفقیت در کنسول های نسل هفتمی، در ۱۴فوریه ۲۰۱۸ برای پلتفرم PC منتشر شد. نسخه کامپیوتر شامل حدود ۵۰% صداگذاری انگلیسی بیشتر نسبت به نسخه کنسولی می باشد. پشتیبانی از نمایش صفحه Ultrawide، حالت توربو و قابلیت شروع مجدد بسیار سریع که باعث می شود تا از آخرین سیو خود بازی را شروع کنید در نسخه ی PC به چشم می خورد. سری دوم بازی افسانه ی قهرمانان در سبک اکشن، نقش آفرینی و به صورت دید سوم شخص است که توسط شرکت Nihon Falcom توسعه یافته و توسط XSEED Games منتشر شده است.
داستان این نسخه از بازی یک ماه پس از وقایع قسمت اول بازی می باشد. اکنون گروهی از قهرمانان تصمیم گرفتند تا با خطراتی که در پیش و رو دارند مواجه شوند و دنیایی قابل سکونت را بوجود بی آورند و تمامی تهدید ها را از بین ببرند. بازی بصورت انیمیشنی می باشد و دارای گرافیک بسیار جذاب بوده و محیط های بازی بسیار پهن آور طراحی شده اند. بیشتر مبارزات در بازی به وسیله شمشیر انجام می شود. در این بازی شما کنترل تعدادی از دانشجویان نخبه را در اختیار خواهید گرفت. بازی به صروت تکنفره داستانی بوده و فاقد بخش مولتی پلیر آنلاین می باشد. به کمک دیگر دانشجویان می توانید در مبارزات مختلفی قرار بگیرید و با بکار گیری از تاکتیک های مختلف دشمنان خود را شکست دهید. با پایان هر مبارزه می توانید سلاح های خود را آپگرید کرده و قدرت های خود را افزایش دهید. می توانید از وسایل نقلیه درون بازی استفاده کرده و از مکانی به مکان دیگر سفر کنید. در بازی می توانید کنترل ربات های غول پیکر را برعهده گرفته و بجنگید. می توانید ماموریت های جانبی نیز برای کسب امتیاز انجام دهید.
